Drum Making Workshop

You are warmly welcome to join us for this drum making workshop held by Joshua Wenzl and assisted by Ayla Schafer, where you will be guided step-by-step by in birthing your own drum. Held in a yurt in beautiful nature on Dartmoor, UK.

Before making your drum, you will be taken on a drum journey held by Ayla to meet and welcome the spirit of your drum.

Together we will set our intentions, call in the elements and the four directions, and give gratitude to the spirits that offered themselves to be used in creating the drums.

We will also give blessings, prayers and offerings to the Spirit of our drum before and throughout the birthing journey. We call it a 'birth' because we are giving a body to the spirit of the drum that will become our companion.
